When I ran my first marathon in May of 2009, I told myself that this would be a one-time thing, just to see if I could do it.  I was certain that I’d never become someone who regularly runs marathons.  I still probably won’t do that, but due to some coercion on the part of my sister, I am going to run my second-ever marathon.

My sister and I will be running the Marathon to Marathon in Iowa on June 11.  While we are training, we will be raising money for the American Cancer Society.  This is an important cause to us since several of our relatives are cancer survivors.
